Mkif you specify until time 4 pm then RMAN will always restore most current backup which taken before 4 PM and will roll forward this backup during recovery till 4 PM.But there is a subtle attention need to pay that always use set until clause before restore, if you specify until clause after restore and before recovery then there might be a contradiction. Suppose backup got finished at 2 pm and at the time of restoration I am not sure when the backup lelel 0 got finished and I am giving Until Time 4 Pm then Isit going to work or can I extract the time from rman>list backup and put that time.
